Hi Parent, Teacher, or Mentor…

I am so excited to share the awesome tool of metacognition with your reader. Learning to “Think About Our Thinking” can empower students to overcome difficult situations in the learning process. When students are faced with a dreaded math test, an intensive social studies project, or learning to make new friends at school, instead of “I Can’t” metacognition guides the process with thoughts like these: How can I? What study aids do I need? Is my room too distracting? Perhaps I need to focus on each step?  Should I take breaks instead of working for hours at a time? Where would be a good place to interact with kids my age?

If you’re reading this, you’re probably ready to start the conversation amongst your colleagues or students. If so, I am a professional speaker and it is my great pleasure to come out to your school to discuss new ways of learning.
